Walid is a seasoned professional in the world of environmental commodities trading. His journey started in Amsterdam, where he kicked off his career as an oil broker at an international brokerage firm. Having quickly decided to specialize in environmental commodities, he became involved in CO2 emissions trading and renewable energy certificates.
Seeking new opportunities, he later made the move to London, where he continued to expand his expertise in trading various environmental products. In 2017, fueled by a passion for entrepreneurship and sustainability, he co-founded Holborn Trading, dedicated to driving positive change in the environmental trading landscape.
